So much unnecessary crap was in this book. Like I said earlier the things I loved about the first book were absent. It was a book that was mildly disappointing to read up until the last like 50 pages where I felt like I was seeing a semblance of what I liked of the first book. The author is "rapidly releasing" this series and honestly it shows from the typos to easily predictable plot points to the same trope being done over and over again. I would like to give the third book a try when it comes out in July but this series is on thin ice. 😤
