I had a really fun time with this one. I feel like I've read some books with very similar premises, but this one had some real meat to sink my teeth into. I found the characters a little hard to engage with at first, but after a bit, I came to really love them. I think that the dual POV was vital for this book to function as well as it did. I was a little surprised that we spent so much time just hanging out at Edwin's house and doing research. There is an element of coziness that is undercut by the urgency of Robin's magical affliction. Overall, I really liked this one, and I think that I will likely continue with the series because the main plot is not finished yet.
