Rogue God by Esme Taylor

5.0

I keep falling in love with the Cosmic Gods over and over again. This book is about Frankie, the drummer and Mav and Gray’s sister. She’s always felt like she’s going to be replaced by someone better in the band, that she is just someone who ‘will do’ until a new drummer arrives. She just doesn’t see how important she is to the boys, how she keeps them all together on the stage and in their real lives until Emmy comes to write their story. Then Matt arrives, strong, big and muscly. Frankie can’t keep her eyes off him and he has his eyes on her in more ways than one when she clunks her head in the bathroom on his first night working as their head of security and he has to rescue her with a bump to the head and she’s completely naked. What she was doing for the water to get everywhere on the floor while she was in the bath is another thing.
But Matt has skeletons, he can’t be happy because of his past and his life before the Cosmic Gods.

I will be honest, I’m not a crier with books. I’ve cried maybe twice over the years.
THIS BOOK!! It made me cry three times! 3 times!!! I honestly love this book. I was lucky to have an arc copy for my honest review, but I just love this story. The Cosmic Gods series just keeps getting better.
Just one more to go and I’m going to be so sad it’ll be the last. Mav! I can’t wait to hear about you!!!
