4.5
I was utterly enthralled by this captivating tale! The world-building was rich and immersive, the characters were complex and multi-dimensional, and the plot was engaging and suspenseful. The Flame King's Captive had me hooked from start to finish, and I found myself eagerly turning the pages to discover what would happen next.
The only reason I didn't give it a full 5 stars was that there were a few moments where the pacing felt a bit slow, and I wished for a bit more development in certain areas. However, these minor quibbles didn't detract from my overall enjoyment of the book.
Overall, I would highly recommend The Flame King's Captive to fans of fantasy and romance. It's a thrilling and swoon-worthy read that will leave you breathless and eager for more!
