Truly Devious by Maureen Johnson

Okay, this was really fun.

This book has some issues (mostly an absolute boat load of setup in the first half of the book that was a bit dry) but it was enjoyable overall. I love the main character Stevie, and I'm sure a lot of other awkward book nerds love her as well. I like the representation of anxiety in her as well.

The side characters are a bit hit and miss in my opinion, but they're all good enough. Nothing awful, but maybe nothing to write home about either.

Barely any questions get answered in the process of this book, which would usually drive me crazy but it was done surprisingly well. I'm really looking forward to getting the next one.
