Regretting You by Colleen Hoover
5.0

Wow wow wow. To say I loved this book would be an understatement. Hoover has such a wonderful way with words and storytelling. I had a good feeling about this one from the very first page, but I was genuinely blown away by the end. Gah!

A mother-daughter relationship, first love, and all the messiness that love and relationships can involve. Part coming of age, part re-discovering who you are again as an adult, this was such a beautifully and richly woven story with so much depth and heart. And what memorable characters we meet here! Every time I think about what I’ve just read I get caught up on something else again because there was just so much to it.

I cannot believe it took me this long to finally pick up a Colleen Hoover book. Please excuse me while I neglect all forthcoming releases and go read her entire backlist now (from which I’d love recommendations on which book to pick up next)! But really though, all the emotional, sincere, and heartfelt stars for Regretting You. Trust me, you NEED this book in your life, readers.
