Woah! That was one heck of a ride. I loved it.

Wayne is definitely my favorite character even though I have no idea what he is talking about at times. I know some readers cannot stand him, but I love him. I am a huge fan of humor and he has some of the best one-liners in the history of one-liners.

Wonderful character arcs and awesome pacing make this a very solid book.

BUT, this did not feel like a proper finale to a series(like Hero of Ages did). I guess it's inevitable when you are making a whole connected universe.

I have read Warbreaker, Mistborn Era 1, The Scadrian system in Arcanum unbounded and Mistborn Era 2(read the novellas after Bands of Mourning). I am guessing lots of elements in Lost metal are from the other books especially the Stormlight Archives. This didn't make it any less enjoyable, but did not leave me completely satisfied either. A sense of completion is what I expect when I complete a series. Didn't get that.
Hence, though I love Wax and Wayne(and the others), because of the lack of the feeling of completion, I like the era 1 more.

Overall, a good book and a good series. But the whole series is a filler series for more upcoming books. So there is that.
