This was a good one. Karin Slaughter did a beautiful job adding in fiction with this could actually be something that happens in real life. Imagine you have been married to a man for 18 years, and then suddenly he is murdered one night when you guys were being spontaneous. As you are grieving and find things out about your husband but it continues to get worse. This book broke my heart the letters from the father was a nice touch. They finally were able to make amends with each other and rebuild their lives. The only drawbacks were it took a while for the set up and the long chapters were annoying. But overall beautifully written now a Karin Slaughter fan.
