Lies: Vintage Minis
by Oscar Wilde
The Importance of Being Earnest: Out of the three works within this book, this play is hands down my favourite. I read this the fasted out of three and found myself laughing endlessly.
The Decay of Lying: Oscar Wilde brings forth a new perspective that I had never thought could be true. But I must say, because of this essay I was completely convinced. It was an interesting read and I cannot wait to reread the text; for I feel as though it’s one of those texts where each time you read it, you gain something new (even if you have read it a hundred times).
The Picture of Dorian Gray: There is something about this story that just provides a comfort (although it wasn’t intended to do so). Oscar Wilde’s writing is so lovely that it is such a lovely read.
