Everything Beautiful Is Not Ruined by Danielle Younge-Ullman
5.0
I’ve never read a book like this. The character development Ingrid goes through is phenomenal. The storytelling through diary entries fits the plot perfectly. It’s a coming of age story without being cliché. I didn’t know there was a part of the plot I was missing until near the end and when I found the missing piece everything fell into place even though it didn’t seem things weren’t fitting before.
I’d recommend this story to anyone who enjoys reading complicated family relationships, books about the importance of mental health, romance, and/or realistic fiction.
