172 Hours on the Moon by Johan Harstad

2.0

I have mix feelings about this book. i liked it in some parts but really disliked in some others.

What I liked:

The last half of the book. It was really interesting everything that happened in the moon and I wanted to know what would happen with the main characters. All the atmosphere of the unknown problems out there and how everyone was freaking out was actually good, but unfortunately I have to say that that was all I liked.

What I disliked:

1. The characters. They were so 2 dimensional, I really didn't care about any of the characters. It didn't matter to me if they died or not.
2. The first half of the story. Everything that happened before they travel to the moon was quite boring. I would like to read something about the training of the main characters, and how their relationships develop, but that didn't happen. The only thing I knew about the training is that they had to read a few books and that's all. About their relationships I didn't know that much either. At one page they were all unknown and at the other page two of the characters were in love.
3. I was never scared. I thought the book would have some really scaring scenes but there weren't. I just felt like I needed more about the horror part of this book.

Overall it was a bit disappointing.
