good fun but it dragged in some parts. the male character's pov annoyed me a couple times, and i'm not a fan of romantic subplots in my thrillers (although the fact that they were best friends here made it more enjoyable). i appreciated that the author had the main character actually suffer and get hurt, and i was interested to see how she was going to escape. this wasn't anything special or remarkable but it was a fun time.
