This is a dark Beauty and the Beast inspired fantasy. There are a lot of fun classic Beauty and the Beast elements blended with plenty of wonderful new and unique elements to make the story feel fresh and exciting.
My favorite thing is that this story has a Howl's Moving Castle element! Y'all. That's it. I was hooked, and that definitely increased my star rating and my appreciation of the entire novel.
