This was pron with plot, not to be mistaken with plot with pron, and I enjoyed it for what it was.
I’ve never read a story that featured a career like this one, which was refreshing to see. It made it more interesting than it would have been with only a forced proximity trope.
Griffin was calling Cyn adorable, but he’s the adorable one. He talks to his dog, Comet, and he’s just so happy to have someone with him finally. He doesn’t have to be so alone, and Cyn gets the pleasure of testing out his inventions ahead of the curve while saving her money. They’re good for each other.
