World-building was so masterfully done! It really painted a picture in my head and didn't feel boring or slow to read like some world building does. The story did drag a bit in the middle, for me and I was starting to worry the book would bore me, but thankfully the ending really came back with a bang! The last 150 odd pages were SO GOOD. I also found the language throughout the book really easy to read for an epic fantasy, which is super refreshing!
