Thunderhead by Neal Shusterman
4.0

This was a very special read. Coming out of a book slump to a fast-paced world in which I found myself wondering and asking millions of questions - which is why I read anyway.

My ONLY complaint about this book (and by definition the previous one) is how fast the romance between Citra and Rowan developed. We rarely catch glimpses of them together and yet they are willing to give up their own lives for each other? Far fetched even for me. But at the same time I wonder if it is their time apart, and in silence, having no one - not the Thunderhead, not each other - to remind them of this love, I wonder if that is what fuels and strengthens it, and if that is what drives them to protect each other even from a distance.

Anyways, amazing writing.
Thanks Neal.
