the way it’s written is giving very great gatsby, the whole book is written through the lens of the main character’s friend, except in in the great gatsby it proves to be effective but in this it was just kind of useless. i didn’t see the point to this book at all actually, it wasn’t even really a story, just an amalgamation of random moments and thoughts?? i would not recommend.
