4.0

Brief summary - A dog (or dogs) use various modes to go on silly vignettes through this story
Annotation - This is a great read for kids, although it doesn't really go together as a comprehensive story there are a lot of lines that are memorable.
Age appropriateness 0-4 years
Connection to six early literacy skills
Phonological awareness - A lot of simple words and site words plus the repetition is a good way to help students learn.
Opinion - Although this is not a deep story, it is a great book to read aloud and to learn to read.
