A Court of Wings and Ruin by Sarah J. Maas

This was good. It’s the book that capitalized on books 1 and 2 and transitions us over into other books. The main characters have their happily ever after already, and since this is basically a romance series you know nothing really bad is going to happen. There were a few really wonderful parts such as what happens when we finally see Fayres dad again (the foreshadowing is poured on us in buckets), but again mostly it’s just making sure there’s fodder for lots more books. And since I’m enjoying the series I’m happy about that.

At every turn in this book you are introduced to a person or snippet that definitely would make a whole great book. This whole book is a transition though, so it wasn’t something I’d say was amazing.
