Brooklyn is a captivating thriller about a Pastor's daughter trying her best to survive in a stifling household. Although it starts out slowly, the plot really hits the ground running and doesn't leave room to process some of the events that happen. The characters feel very real, and it's easy to empathize with everything they experience.
