I KNEW this would end in a cliffhanger and I still read it anyway so I suppose any emotions I have are my own fault. Anyway super hot, etc etc, everything you would expect from a Sierra Simone book that takes place mostly at a kink club, and emotions and pining. Here’s hoping I’ll remember enough to want to read the sequel! (Also, I think it’s super inconsistent that Mark is a shit fighter in the one fight he gets in and got drunk at his club on the guest night. That’s the part that made the least sense to me but I’m hoping book two explains it was some masterful plotting on his part or something. Like I know fighting is a skill you have to practice but it was all, ooooo Mark is the boogeyman, he killed a bunch of people in insane ways and then Tristan is seeing him fight badly?? What??)
