Where the Crawdads Sing by Delia Owens

5.0

Why should the injured, the still bleeding, bear the onus of forgiveness.

This book was beautiful and I absolutely loved it!
The way this book was written was so well done and there were so many things about this that were just amazing!

Although I found it hard to get into at the beginning- once I got a bit further along I started to really care for the characters.

I didn’t love some of the writing styles at first- such as the way the speech was written- but once you adjust to it you kind of stop noticing it.

The way the Kya is described is so wonderful and I thought her story was so interesting.

The little sprinkles of romance in this book were so sweet and I loved Tate’s character.

“did we exclude Her because she was different, or was she different because we excluded her?”

The mystery in this book- WOW
The story about Chase Andrews was incredibly done and I was SHOCKED by the ending of the book!

I thought this book was wonderful and it is one of my new favourites.
This book is an easy 5 stars for me and I thought it was such an extraordinary, beautiful book
