A Game of Thrones by George R.R. Martin

5.0

Glad to have reread this after also watching the HBO series. I'm not a fangirl of dragons, zombies, and knights, but I am of great storycraft. This series is satisfying on so many levels. It stands up to repeated readings. Of course, I caught more plot foreshadowing this time around, but also a deeper sense of the themes. Unforgettable characters! You care when they die.
