Bone Crier's Moon by Kathryn Purdie

Oof. I loved this book. It started off a little slow for me, but picked up very quickly. The beginning felt a little like the book was going to be a big info dump, but once you got a couple chapters in, it made sense and the info that needed to be shared got shared sporadically rather than all at once. I really enjoyed the characterization and the differences in relationships each character had with the others. None two were alike in a way that made it repetitive. They all seemed to compliment each other perfectly. I also really enjoyed that nothing seemed to be put in as filler or unnecessarily. Every interaction and plot point had a purpose. Nothing was an afterthought or thrown in to get people to keep reading. I'm really excited to see how it progresses in the next book.
