Ok... the art for this book is 5 stars. Let me say that off the bat. But
The plot is bad. Like not regular bad but weird “celebrating a metaphor for colonialism with a strange mishmash rendition of the anime Food Wars and an aborted Rat Race/Westing Game plot that never really develops and also doesn’t go anywhere” bad. Am I misreading this??? It’s. Not good. I felt very uncomfortable with it.
