This series has taken me by storm no pun intended (it is definitely intended..) what even wasssss that?!

So so soooooo many things happening ! I wont lie my reviews always have spoilers within reason I mean to review the book is to discuss and talk about it… but just know its good and you don’t need my review to know that.. also start book 1!! hahah

Andarna leaving was cruellll and then for Vi to survive and then Andarna returning was so short in the story but I just want to hear more!! She left her kind very fast…? Did she not fit in or did she give it up for Violet?? Also her double bond made so much sense once I heard it!! Her kind seems pretty harsh to want peace but not create it??

Then the lightening wielder turned storm wielder dyeing was amazing!! and Cam Aaric it was obvious he had Precog ability I mean what the what now?! So glad he is on their side! And he obviously told Sloane! But why not announce it? Maybe he is worried his royal family will use it to their advantage?

Okayyyyyy so Panchek the douche cannoe!! I hope he is dead can’t lie… Traitor!! and was he the brother? I feel link Xaden cared for the brother so I don’t think its panchek..? cant be Jack..? Maybe Bodhi or Garrick or Brennan? 

Imogen and Garrick having their moment after her best friend died I actually cried when she died it was too well written my heart hurtttt kind of hoping they are going to be together but also isn’t Garrick missing..? Cat and Trager why they couldn’t let them have a happy ever after I don’t know I mean would it have hurtttt?!

Also is it common knowledge Venin cant kill each other? Xaden said he cant kill his new brother or Berwyn? I don’t get it… Violet finding out she could turn Venin was a shock ish now I am not sure where the storyline takes is.

When Xaden made his choice to channel it was so so so sad!! Vi whispering down the bond to him and Xaden holding onto it – my heart brokeeee. Vi and the ring and Tyrrendor and Imogen wiping the memories?! 

My first thought is how does college work now she is a royal ish?? Random in the grand scheme of things but I guess she will be more protected now? Imogen obviously wasn’t there so she could wipe the memories and not remember keeping them safe. And Tarin being asleep maybe he knew about it all so is helping from his side and is Sgaeyl ok or has she disappeared too? 

The missing eggs obviously a gift for the isle… maybe Violet will go there…? And the temple people and the silver hair people being dedicated all veryyyyy interesting and that the dad was the bad guy in that respect not the mum?! Shocker!

Mira also nearly made me cry and the effort they all put in to save her she better have survived not sure I will cope if not! I want to meet grandma see what she knows and learn more about the offering of Violet from the dad like why?? And what did it do because she is obviously not helped by it she is so brittle boned, so it obviously didn’t work?

Overall so happy I have read this series, the Author was so good and connecting to the reader, most fantasy books can be heavy on plot for me or world building but this had it all! I read the hardback but I will be collecting the series in paperback, cannot wait for book 4!
