can't believe this wasn't gay
i was so led astray by the cover, synopsis, and brandon sandersons blurb. the world building was nonexistent - even though this is the first book of the series, you receive no information about michael’s background, why gods exist, who the knights are, etc.
the pacing and plot was also a little off, i felt like the characters were never making any progress and kept going in circles.
