π‘π’π’™π’ˆπ’π’π’—π’† picks up right where 𝑩𝒆𝒍𝒍𝒂𝒅𝒐𝒏𝒂 ended. Another murder, another mystery π‘Ίπ’Šπ’ˆπ’π’‚ feels that it's her duty to solve, especially if it affects the Hawthorne family, to which she has grown very attached to.

We are introduced to a new character this time, 𝑭𝒂𝒕𝒆, who seems to cause more chaos than actually help. But once you get a bit of his background story, you make sense of his motives as selfish as they were.

π‘©π’π’šπ’•π’‰π’† is more active in this book, she's feeling much better, and she's determined to uncover the mystery of the murder and find the culprit. I love how she just doesn't care about the whole society norms and how everyone else is fretting about finding a match this season, which is approaching to an end. However, I did wish that she was stronger in the beginning and tried to understand and communicate with π‘Ίπ’Šπ’ˆπ’π’‚ better before she started believing what she chose to. I wish π‘Ίπ’Šπ’ˆπ’π’‚ would have had a different kind of conversation with her. Because I questioned π‘©π’π’šπ’•π’‰π’†'s decisions a lot. But in the end, she proved to us that she's stronger than she seems, and I am assuming it was all part of her character development 😊.

I love how 𝑫𝒆𝒂𝒕𝒉 is always around, always helping and protecting π‘Ίπ’Šπ’ˆπ’π’‚, and I adore how he loves her, no pressure or selfishness.

Once again, I lost myself in the story that the author created. Her words are so beautifully written, and it was a pleasure to my eyes to read this book. I do think that 𝑩𝒆𝒍𝒍𝒂𝒅𝒐𝒏𝒂 was more packed when it came to the plot, and π‘π’π’™π’ˆπ’π’π’—π’† was a bit more drawn out, but I believe the focus may have been more on the characters this time than the actual plot, since we do get π‘©π’π’šπ’•π’‰π’†'s POV as well. Nonetheless, the story was entertaining, charming, mysterious, enjoyable, with twists and turns I did not expect. (Except maybe one, which I had a hunch about since the beginning, and it was revealed at the end).

I am looking forward to the next book, π‘Ύπ’Šπ’”π’•π’†π’“π’Šπ’‚. I think it's going to be so much fun!
