When a Scot Ties the Knot
by Tessa Dare
I found this book quite enjoyable, and most of that came from the interactions between Maddie and Logan. Even though Maddie was panic-inducingly shy in crowds, I found her refreshing in how she dealt with Logan and his men after they showed up at her castle. Logan might have been brutish, but she could read him and see all his empty spaces. And with her quiet nature, she started to fill them.
Logan had his own agenda, determined to take care of the men who had followed him into battle. He was there for them, always supportive, and I love how all of that quickly turned to supporting Maddie and helping her discover the strength she didn't know she had.
I'm very particular with what m/f romance I read, but the blurb was intriguing. I'm glad I took a chance on it because this book fit nicely into my parameters.
