I breezed through this book! It hooked me right away and I enjoyed it a lot. It was intense and I kept having to read more and more to know what happened.

I will say the main reason I didn’t give it an even higher rating is that I guessed the major end twist from almost the beginning of the book - not sure it’s a spoiler to say there’s an end twist in a thriller but just in case.

Overall I enjoyed this a lot and plan to read more by this author. Her prose was really lovely - descriptive but not overly so. She knows how to pace well, and I enjoyed how easy it was to dive right into this.
