Real Like Daydreams by Julia Wolf

4.0

I have been really enjoying this series and I could not wait to learn Julien’s story. Julian is trying to recover from a traumatic accident which has left him scarred mentally and physically whilst also mourning for his previous life. He encounters Stephanie ‘Sera’ Ellis, a bubble, beautiful classmate who’s fighting to become captain of her music class and ropes in Julian as her fake boyfriend to get her position - however the feelings soon turn real.

This book had so many elements, including a case of secret identity which forces both to review the foundations of their relationship. I loved the way Sera helped Julian heal, both through PT sessions and with familial relationships. The angst, the chemistry and the tension were 10/10, and I can’t recommend this series enough.

The only downfall is the behaviour of some of the characters seemed out of place, it was hard to believe that the characters were in their twenties. Apart from this, I would say don’t miss out!!
