Ten Women by Marcela Serrano
4.0

I enjoyed this book. The first nine chapters are told first person from nine different women, all different, young, old, single, married, etc. They all see the same psychiatrist, so their stories aren't happy ones, but gave me a glimpse of other lives in Chile. The last chapter was titled with the psychiatrists name, but was actually by her assistant. Somehow these women connected at the lady's house, but that is never shown. I got confused at the purpose of the ladies coming together since it is not told. But I liked it. The chapters are long, but lots of breaks in them.
