This is a vision of a dark dystopian future, showcasing the fragility of modern life, which sadly even in 2025 seems to have parallels and relevance.   This is a vision of what happens if the wrong hands get control, and would have been significant politically at release.  It is an important book, clearly.  However it is not for the faint hearted, nor should it be.

It can be a tricky read in 2025, where it does not have a modern flow.  But it is worth persevering to the end, to understand the importance of the text, and the true feeling for the story.

Definitely worth reading something lighter afterwards!
