It felt like a weird premise to a book. Not much seemed to happen until it all seemed to happen. It’s one of those books that has very normal characters that have very random & intense things happen to them. Also wasn’t aware that there would be such a graphic blood scene that the entire last 20% revolved around - made it hard to finish the book
