Shiver by Maggie Stiefvater
5.0

I really enjoyed this beautiful story. I got lost in the woods along with the wolves and in the world of Grace and Sam. I loved hearing the story being told through both of their perspectives, it was almost as if I was along on the journey with them.
As a lover of fantasy stories, I really loved the fantasy element in this book. The mystery of why Grace never turned into a wolf is a key question that I thin I understand now the book is over. Grace’s parents annoyed me, mainly because it pointed out how my parents are the polar opposite (not necessarily a god thing either) but I felt for Grace.
I was particularly hooked in the second half of the book, I finished it in one sitting. The story really picked up at this point. The ending was beautiful and brought tears to my eyes and honestly left me so excited to pick up the next book. Shiver is a book that I’ve wanted to read for years and I regret not reading it sooner! I will definitely be reading more Maggie Stiefvater.
