This book is great. It’s mysterious and gritty and nail biting. The characters are so human and flawed - I could see it all happening in real life here in Ireland.
The ending of the book left me disappointed. I wanted all the mysteries tied up with a little bow. But that’s not real life, which is why Tana French has denied us that (unusual for a crime book but interesting in itself) I under her choice but I will forever be annoyed about the ending, wondering what happened.
The writing, the dialogue, the characters and the storyline is great, I was obsessed with reading this book - just be warned it mightn’t all come to conclusion.
