Leo, My Partner by R.S. McKenzie

3.0

"I never want to let him go. We’re forever."

And just like that, we get Leo in all his killing glory.
Ty and Leo didn't make sense to me at first but then it all clicked.
Ty is the one meant for Leo.

Leo even though he is a psychopath and doesn't feel things like everyone else gets these "feelings" of a sort that are unexplainable to him.
Being raised to hone his killings has made him who he is and there is no remorse about it.
Meeting Ty has him wanting something he never expected, even if its from a man.

Tyshawn, the baker that I never seen coming. Or Leo for that matter.
This sweet baby is just trying to make it to owning his own bakery, only when he goes to look at a property he gets the surprise of a lifetime.
Who knew going to look at a property would alter the path you were on in life?

This book was so good and in a way light hearted for what was inside of it. Don't get me wrong Leo is a psychopath but we get a more "human" side of him.
There were the hard parts that made the chest hurt and give off the eye sting but I knew something was coming at that point.
Leo finding his person in Ty was just what he needed, a partner in ALL ways, in every way.

Finally getting Leo's story was the perfect place to pick back up from Book 1.
Best way to end this duet.
