This author's works "Cinderella is Dead" and "This Poison Heart" got me back into reading last year after a decade of burnout. I don't normally read horror/thriller but when I saw this I had to give it a shot.
My Waterstones exclusive copy arrived in the mail this afternoon. I just finished it at 1am. Genuinely couldn't put it down even though I have so many books on the go already.
Probably not gonna sleep tonight because I'm a scaredy-cat, but absolutely loved this book and I highly recommend it to any fans of the slasher genre, as well as anyone else who's tired of the dumbasses that make all the wrong decisions in horror films.

Graphic: Gore, Animal death, Murder, and Injury/Injury detail
Moderate: Stalking
One instance of animal death: An owl is left with its neck snapped on their skylight, then later left again on their doorstep with its eyes removed. Very unpleasant
