Rosaline Palmer Takes the Cake by Alexis Hall
Content warning: This novel has an on page attempted sexual assault.
Spoiler for the situation if you want: Rosaline is bisexual and her boyfriend attempts to get her drunk and force her into a threesome with his ex GF. Rosaline says no repeatedly. The ex GF gets partially undressed and sits on Rosaline's lap and kisses even though she repeated tells her to stop while the ex tries to undress her. Rosaline then has to push her off, wrestles her, and runs to hide in the bathroom where she calls someone to pick her up.
So like NOT what I was expected in my romance. This novel has basically no romance it in, its just a misbranded general fiction book. The baking competition part was great. I liked Amelie a lot! Also our MC is bisexual but both her love interests are men if you were wondering.
