Nick Hall wakes up in a dumpster with no memory of who he is or how he got there. He soon discovers that he is being stalked and the stalker wants to kill him- he knows this because he discovers he can read minds. And somehow he also discovers that he has the uncanny ability to access the internet in his mind. Why can't he remember who he is and his past life and why does someone want to kill him?
