This is the third Crossan book I've read, following Here is the Beehive and Moonrise (YA). Her books have a fantastic 'feel'. This one is visually more similar to Moonrise -- the structure of the pages -- but all three relate their stories in a non-linear style. I'm actually surprised by how much I have enjoyed them, as I typically like traditional fiction. But her works are a joy to have discovered.
