Sonali Dev is crushing the Jane Austen retelling game and her books make my mouth water. So much delicious food! And this one also has soccer, so extra yay. I appreciated the way this novel also dealt with complex familial relationships, the toll of addition, and the endurance of young love. I do wish there had been a little more of getting to see Rico and Ashna's early relationship, but overall just found this very sweet and fun!
