sophieconstable 's review for:
Nine Lives
by Peter Swanson
This book was very disappointing and I say that with some surprise as I went into this book with basically no expectations and yet it still managed to disappoint me. This book is boring and the reveal lackluster. The concept is interesting but the amount of PoVs in this book means that none of the characters stand out as memorable. I honestly couldn't care less what happened to a single character in this book and could barely tell you anything about them. I also found myself never really wanting to pick this book up and I could go hours without thinking about it. The reveal is incredibly disappointing and I finished the book feeling slightly unsatisfied. This is my second Peter Swanson book and the second one I have disliked so I don't think I will continue to pick up this author.
