The Tourist Attraction by Sarah Morgenthaler

4.0

WOW! I in no way expected to love this as much as I did! I may still be on a high from just finishing it… but there are so many adorable things about this book! I mean you have small town romance, grumpy/sunshine, tourist/local, an adorable blind dog, and a bun addicted moose! How can you go wrong!!

Okay, first let’s talk about the setting… I would do anything to live in moose springs! The town acted as another main character throughout the story! You grew to absolutely adore the small town businesses and their owners! All of the beautiful mountains, the seashore, and the star gazing views seemed to be just breathtaking! I don’t blame the locals for wanting to keep the town untouched by tourists who don’t care!

Next… characters! Despite Graham’s strange rage habits…. I liked him! He is definitely pretty cringe in his flirt game… but He was witty and lovable! Not to mention Zoe, being the cutest little dreamer out there! AND LANA AND EASTON?! Could they have been any cooler?! I am so glad the next two books are about them!

Lastly, some complaints I have are about the plot! The actual plot of the book wasn’t spoken outloud until about 60% of the way in! Which I mean throughout the story you know exactly what is going to happen (she is going to have to go home and leave him). But it’s like that never occurred to the two of them to talk about it until it was too late! Also, the ending seemed kinda abrupt! I was overall happy with how it ended… but I just wish I had a little more! Lastly, as I mentioned before, Graham’s random rage fits! His actions seemed really immature after a while (especially at the banquette!). Luckily, that was easier to look past considering how sweet and gentle he was with zoey and L.

I 100% recommend this book!! It was freaking adorable!
