This was a struggle to finish. I do not understand the hype. Felt like it was glorifying / normalizing trauma  and gave me icky feelings throughout. Didn’t like any characters and though I know stuff technically happened, I feel like nothing happened. End scene should have been like 1/3 of the way through the book tbh; maybe it gets better in subsequent books but I will not be reading them
