I read all three books of the If I Run series in three days. Yeah, that’s how good it is. I’ve never read books that fast before. This is easily the best suspense series I have ever read, with the third book — If I Live — being my favorite. The whole story was wrapped up perfectly in this one. Here were some of my favorite aspects:
In the series, we see Casey (the main character) get saved and enter into an intimate relationship with the the Lord, which is rarely shown in books — even Christian fiction. We see her praying constantly and showing a true understanding of the gospel. The faith aspect of the series was done perfectly.
The suspense. Just wow. Did I mention I read all three books in three days? I just couldn’t put it down.
Last but not least, the romance. There is so much I liked about this part of the book. It was extremely well done. I specifically want to point out that I especially like that we got to see Casey and Dylan get married. This is something I always want to be included in Christian fiction but rarely is.
