I really loved this book...first of all it takes place in Massachusetts so that's always fun. And it's a modern-twist-up of fairy tales and folklore and I love that, big fan. The main character, Julie, has a great voice and she is brave and interesting and believable, I really liked her. The other cast of characters are just as fun. The style of writing is descriptive but fast enough to keep you turning the pages. Humor, adventure and drama...what more could you ask for? Well there is a librarian that plays an important role...she's not on every page but she's a pivotal part of the story...what fun!
