For me this was slightly above average as far as self help books go. That being said, that rating for me only stands reading this as a philosophy rather than a psychology book. In fact, I think reading it through a psychology lens could be harmful for certain people as it’s very dismissive of trauma and mental illness in general. 

But if you’re looking for other perspectives on possible lenses to look at life, and perhaps other ideas of what it means to live a fulfilling life, this book is worth checking out. I know I’m going to take some of what I learned forward with me in life.
