a tragically but also beautifully sad book, the characters and emotions throughout were so complex and intense. the writing is amazing and really made me feel like these characters were real and that i understood their actions and motivations.
there were points in the book when i wanted to put it down or stop reading altogether because i would be so upset or even angry at a character or event, but i think that just speaks to how good it is - you almost find yourself frustrated at the turns the books takes but never enough to stop loving the characters, or even hate them.
i don’t think i’ll find another book that will stick with me like this one will for a while.
