I AM NOT OKAY! Amazing. I went into this book blind, only knowing that it was about ice skaters. I love ice skating, so that was all I needed to hear. I absolutely devoured this whirlwind of a story. The passion, the drama, the betrayal, the stakes, everything about this book had me totally captivated! The Favorites has earned a spot on my list of favorite books. Also, it took me 70% of the book to realize The Favorites is loosely based on Wuthering Heights, one of my favorite classic books. If you have read Wuthering Heights, I promise it will not spoil this book for you. If you love Taylor Jenkins Reid, I can bet you will adore Fargo’s writing style and ability to create incredibly vivid and multifaceted characters who feel REAL.
